25.09.23 - Placing an order at a cafe

1. What type of coffee do you usually order at a cafe, and why?

 - I usally order an iced americano when I go to a cafe. I actually used to have frappuchino everytime I was at a cafe, but since I made up my mind to cut back on sugar, I haven't had frappuchino things very much. Actually I'm trying to cut back on caffeine too, but I have no other options but americano. The main reason I go to cafes is meet someone and chat. In this case, other drinks are easy to drink out so quickly without any noticing. On the other hand, iced americano is a good option because it takes me a bit longer to end it because it's a bit bitter.

→ I usually order an iced americano when I go to a cafe. I actually used to get a frappuccino every time, but ever since I decided to cut back on sugar, I haven't really had (any of) those kinds of drinks.

Honestly, I'm trying to cut back on caffeine too, but there aren't many other options besides an americano. The main reason I go to cafes is to meet up with someone and chat. Other drinks are just too easy to finish without even noticing. But an americano is a good choice because its bitterness makes me take a bit longer to finish it.

 

2. How often do you drink coffee? Do you usually make it at home or get it from a cafe?

 - I drink instant coffee, Kanu, every morning during the week at work. The very first thing I do at work is to make my coffee in my tumblr. I usually drink it out by lunch time, and make another bottle for afternoon. I mostly have two bottles of coffee in my tumblr every day at work. But I don't drink coffee on the weekends at all. But, I've decided to cut back on or totally quit caffeine, especially instant coffee like Kanu or Maxim. So I'm expected to quit coffee. I didn't drink one actually.

→ I drink instant coffee like Kanu every morning during the week at work. The very first thing I do when I get to work is to make my coffee in my tumbler. I usually finish it by lunchtime and then make another one for the afternoon. So I pretty much have two tumblers of coffee every day at work. But I don't drink any coffee at all on the weekends. I've actually decided to cut back on, or totally quit, caffeine, especially instant coffee like Kanu or Maxim. So I'm hoping to quit coffee completely soon. I actually didn't even have one today.

 

3. What’s yourfavorite cafe? Why do you like it?

 - Starbucks is my favorite. Starbucks is the biggest coffee chain as far as I know. I can find its chains everywhere in the world, and I can expect the taste of their coffee wherever the cafe is located. I don't like adventure with my coffee. And I'll never go wrong with Starbucks wherever I go around the world because they provide a good condition of place with fast wifi and AC working. Even when I went to Kenya, which is not very a developed country, I failed with Starbucks.

→ My favorite cafe is definitely Starbucks. As far as I know, it's the biggest coffee chain, so you can find a store almost anywhere in the world. I love that I can always expect the same taste no matter where the cafe is. I'm not really into trying new things when it comes to coffee.

And you can never go wrong with Starbucks because they always have a good place to sit with fast Wi-Fi and working AC. Even when I went to Kenya, which isn't a very developed country, Starbucks didn't disappoint me.
