25.08.22 - The Mystery Smell in My Dressing Room

 

우리 집 아파트 안방에 드레스룸이 하나 있어

그런데 어느날부터 드레스룸의 서랍장 하나에서 냄새가 나기 시작했어

그 서랍에는 주로 내가 잠옷으로 입는 짧은 반바지나 나시같은게 들어있어

항상 깨끗하게 옷들을 세탁한 후 거기에 넣는데 왜 냄새가 나는지 잘 모르겠더라고

와이프한테도 그 얘기를 했고 결국 그 서랍장에 있는 옷들을 전부 세탁하기로 했지

세탁만 할게 아니라 서랍장을 뭘로 한번 닦고 환기도 좀 시켜야할 것 같아

혹시 누구 나랑 같은 경험 있으면 냄새 없애는 방법좀 알려줬으면 좋겠어

 

이건 다른 얘긴데, 내 안방 드레스룸은 상당히 크지만 우리 와이프와 같이 쓰기에는 또 그렇게 크진 않아

그래서 안방 드레스룸을 나 혼자 다 쓰고 와이프는 집 안에 방 하나를 통째로 자기 드레스룸으로 쓰거든?

근데 와이프는 그거도 모자라서 내 드레스룸에 자기 옷을 넣는다

그럴만도 한게 걔 옷방에 옷 말고도 다른 물건들이 좀 많아. 와이프가 강아지 옷을 파는데 그 물건들을 옷방에 좀 보관 하더라고

그 물건들 다 치우고 그 자리에 서랍장을 몇개 넣으면 아마 이 문제가 해결되지 않을까 싶다

그때까지만 좀 더 기다려봐야겠어

아무튼 와이프 파는 물건들이 집에 너무 많다.

조만간 집을 깨끗하고 쓸 수 있지 않을까 기대중이다.

So, I used to use the whole dressroom on my own, and we made another room her dressroom so that she could put her all clothes.

It’s mostly where I keep my pajamas—shorts and sleeveless tops.

I always wash them before putting them in, so I don’t get why it smells.

I told my wife about it, and we decided to wash everything in that drawer again.

I feel like just washing them won’t fix it—I should probably wipe down the drawer and let some fresh air in too.

Has anyone else had this happen? Any tips for getting rid of the smell?

Makes sense, though—her room has a lot of other stuff besides clothes. She sells dog clothes online and stores some of the stock there.

I think if she clears that out and maybe adds a few drawers, it’d solve the problem.

I guess I just have to wait until she does that.

Anyway, there’s just way too much of her stuff in the house.
