1. 예문

 - Let's take a break before we continue. Or better yet, let's go out and get ourselves some coffee.

 - Do you guys want to meet at the bus stop tomorrow morning? Or better yet the three of us can take a taxi.

 - A: I'm tired of taking my car to the mechanics. It's already like the 6th time this year.

   B: You should go see my guy whatever it is. I'm sure he can take care of it. Or better yet, just get a new car. How long have you been driving that thing?

   A: No. That thing is a classic. I'm telling you, one day, it's going to be on the cover of a car magazine.

   B: Then that's all the more reason to get a daily driver. You drive to work every day, don't you?

 - It'd be nice to have a steam cleaner as well. Or better yet, let's get one that can do both vacuum and steam cleaning.

 - You should just ignore all her calls and messages today. That'll teach her a lesson. Or better yet, don't go home tonight.

 - You said you had to leave around 7, right? Are you taking your girlfriend out for dinner? Or better yet, why don't you bring her over here and we can all have dinner together.

 - Let me know when everyone decides what they're going to have. Or better yet, we can get one of the combo meals and share everything.

 

2. 심화

 - A: My flight is at 11 in the morning tomorrow, so could you pick me up around at my place?

   B: Or better yet, I could sleep over at your place tonight and we can leave together in the morning.

 - A: I think I need a break. Could someone take the wheel for a bit?

   B: Or better yet, there's a rest about 20 minutes from here. How about we make a stop there, stretch our legs and grab a snack?

 - A: I'm getting kind of hungry. I think I'm going to make a quick trip to the convenience store. Do you want anything?

   B: Or better yet, we could go out for some hotdogs. There's a 24-hour place just around the corner.

 

3. 내 예문

 - How about we go to a resort? Or better yet, let's go to Pattaya where you've been wanting to go.

 - Am I the only one who's hungry? Let's cook something. Or better yet, let's eat out tonight.

 - Let's get a new laundry machine. Or better yet, we can get one that can both wash and dry.

 - Let's move somewhere else for another beer. Or better yet, we can drink at my home.

 - A: You know, I've been meaning to get a new car with good fuel effieciency. Gas has been getting more and more expensive.

   B: Or better yet, you should seriously getting an electric car.
